HTS Witbank opened in 1975. Since then, the school has built a distinctive education model that combines a strong academic foundation with practical technical pathways.

Head boy and head girl
Head boy Alex Botha and head girl Antonette Beukes lead the 2026 learner body with responsibility, perseverance, empathy and pride. They encourage every learner to participate, make memories, support one another and face challenges with integrity.

Heart, values and community care
Care is practical at HTS. The school supports about 40 learners through a sandwich project, assists families with weekly food parcels and Christmas support, maintains a second-hand clothing bank, and provides clothing and sanitary products where needed.

General information
School hours are 07:25–14:30 from Monday to Thursday and 07:25–13:00 on Friday. For finance enquiries, contact Dominique Meissenheimer on 074 668 2749.
